Tracking Attendance and/or 参与 in Credit Classes

The College takes attendance and 不ifies students if their attendance record might jeopardize their success, 援助/福利或地位. 

The College is required to make adjustments in Veteran’s Benefits and Federal 金融援助 when a student drops a class and/or when a student no longer attends or actively participates.  

类似的, the College has to report a change in enrollment status for International Students who stop attending, actively participating in class and/or making academic progress.  

These adjustments may result in students owing funds to the College, 教育部, 和/或退伍军人管理局, or having your immigration status terminated for continuing your studies.

  • Prior to the drop deadline, you must attend and/or actively participate in your class(es). The drop date can be found in your course syllabus. If you do 不 attend and/or actively participate by the drop deadline, your instructor will issue an NA,从未参加, on her or his roster and your registration will be dropped for that class. A refund will be issued for the course, and your enrollment status may change(i.e., moving from a full-time to a part-time student).
  • 在截止日期之后, if you are registered but 不 attending and/or actively participating for fourteen (14) days or more, 您的状态将更改为 RN已注册-未出席; for the class and you may be issued a withdrawal by the instructor. You will receive a 不ification from the College indicating that you are in an RN 注册状态.
  • Failure to complete courses for which you register, 和/或被退学或不及格, will impact your academic standing with the College.

What to do if you received an email 不ice that you have 不 been in attendance for the past 10 calendar days

  • 如果你在场的话 去上课, let your instructor know you received this message so they may make any changes and apprise you of your status.

Please check your course syllabus for additional information about course withdrawal policies.   • 请注意: You may receive an email even if you informed your instructor that you would be absent or if there was a recent school holiday as our attendance records only reflect actual attendance in class or online academic participation. 如果这适用于你和你 DO intend to resume attendance at your next class meeting, then no further action by you is required. 你只需参加下次的班级会议.
  • 如果你有 不 是现在的 during the last 10 days, but you intend to continue in the course, please contact your instructor immediately to discuss your attendance. You should also return to class and resume participating right away.

What to do if you received an email 不ice that you have 不 been in attendance for the past 14 calendar days
